Baked brie, before hitting the oven.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday: all the "warm fuzzies" of Christmas, but without the need to buy a whole lot. 
We always start prepping food the night before. I love helping my mother and grandmother traipse favorite once-a-year recipes out so we can remember how special they are. A few, like a lemon pound cake, are treated as family heirlooms.
